the janitorial staff is mostly from El Salvador and Mexico and on their breaks they like to gather in the cafeteria and watch Spanish soaps on the TV. So I'm standing there waiting for a fresh batch of coffee to brew, watching the TV (those soaps are a hoot even if you don't understand Spanish) and this freeper asshole walks up and changes the channel to FOX NEWS. The people watching the soap didn't say anything. I said HEY, THOSE PEOPLE WERE WATCHING THAT SOAP. He turns around and says dismissively, OH, I DIDN'T SEE THEM. I made him change the channel back. It occurs to me, even though he literally could not have missed seeing them, he really DOESN'T see them, as people, as human beings, as workers, as anything worthy. *GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR*
