Hubbys repuke friend just told me to move to canada
He starting spouting limpballs trash.I told him I found it offensive. He told me in MY OWN HOUSE to go move to canada if I didn`t like it.He went on to call me unamerican etc etc.My husband is really laid back but the look on his face when his friend said that.He was like oh no you didn`t.I literally got right in Charlie`s (the friends) face and told him to go fuck himself and the horse he rode in on.I then threw him out.I now kind of feel bad because charlie called to say sorry.I think he was totally shocked because in 20 years he has never heard me swear let alone raise my voice. What I am thinking is this is a sign of the total breakdown of the bushites. They are getting increasingly frustrated.

1. That wasn't very nice of him.
It's nice that he's apologized. I hope you all can get past this.

3. It takes a lot to apologize, especially coming from
Edited on Fri Mar-31-06 11:08 AM by JackBeck
someone who listens to Mr. Anal Cyst Limpball.

In case this happens again in the future, whenever any RW-er tells me to move if I don't like it here, I've found that this response makes them blow a gasket:

Me: "So, how much did you like Clinton?"

Them: "I f***ing hated Clinton!"

Me: "Then what are YOU still doing here?"

Works like a charm.

22. That's a good one!
If this guy apologized though to me it means he's still got some part of his soul left. A core neocon repug apologizes for nothing.

Perfect response in my opinion. Maybe his shock at your action will help open up his closed little mind and start thinking for himself.

11. Great Story! -- What An Asshole He Is! That Reminds Me Of That One Time...
Edited on Fri Mar-31-06 12:31 PM by arwalden
... when you stood up to that one Bush-loving neighbor guy who shot your cat because he didn't like that you were Catholic.

Wow... You sure know some weird people!

I've just gotta say.. a lot of strange and exciting things happen to you. I'll bet that's really frustrating for you (and scary too).

But I'll bet things are ALWAYS interesting around your house though.

After taking the cat to the vet, the doctors operated on the cat's shattered jaw. Then after they brough the cat home and the cat went outside to play (or something) and the damn neighbor shot it AGAIN!! This time, it was in her stomach and they had to put the cat to sleep.

... after just being shot and after having surgery. You're right... it *is* totally un-believable! A helluva cat, poor thing.

I remember when I brought my cat, Soon-Yi, home after being neutered. She didn't want to do anything for THREE days.

25. I live in a very rural area .. there are all kinds of weird ones here.
Edited on Fri Mar-31-06 03:13 PM by rhino47
including me lol .My husband always said I am a freak magnet. My house is kinda interesting.Everything from me gluing my fingernail to my forehead to getting stuck in the exact same spot in the driveway three days in a row.It is kinda scary here.EVERYONE has a gun.(sadly my husband included). The neighbor that killed my cat (it was a bit more then just being catholic it had more to do with my kerry stickers and peace stickers) moved to a town about twenty miles away.He got jail time for that. Also he shot my cat twice the same time.He hit her first in and didnt kill her so he shot her again.Thats when I had to have her put down.Shattered her jaw. That was the second cat that I have shot since I lived here in the past 18 years. The first one had it`s leg shot off.We had his leg amputated. He lived until he was poisoned in 99.I will not get another cat.

29. I have a breed rescue border collie
She is so sweet she would lick anyone to death.I was rather tramatized about Misty`s death. The sick shit made SURE she was shot where my kids got off the bus so they would see her.Jiggers (our three legged luv) was not intentionally poisoned. At least I am not sure he was.The neighbor had changed his antifreeze in his car and I think this is what Jiggers got into.We had Jiggers nine years as a three legged and he did very well.I really do not think you can imagine what this area is like. They do not call it Pennsyltucky for nothing. They shoot groundhogs for fun.Its sport to intentionally run over deer in the cornfields with suvs.Cat killing is really common. Its not like I am the only one that has had more then one cat shot/killed.I saw tracks off east lake road where someone ran off the road to kill a blue heron.Imagine deliverence on crystal meth thats pretty much this area.I do not mean to make blanket statements but this area is mainly amish or redneck.Over 75% of our jobs have left (warners ladders, hodges foundry, channel lock, steel car). There is high unemployment here. Our school district average income is 22,000.

And he did the right thing for calling to apologize. What an ass hat.

And it's a shame your husband wasn't the one who threw him out.

21. These times are contributing to many broken relationships...
My sister has become more and more right-winged over the last couple of decades. We use to speak somewhat regularly but that has changed during the last few years. I grew tiresome of her freeperesque rants. She use to send me emails that were circulating among wing-nuts until I finally told her to take me off her list.

I just don't have the energy or desire to put up with her anymore.

married, my husband told me to feel free to ban any one from our home I didn't feel comfortable having there. His rule still stands. I have only used it a few times---but it was no great loss. It's your home--the one place in the world where you should feel safe and at peace.
