...baby here to all my DU pals. Her name is Emmy and we resued her from the pound a week ago. She's a chow-golden retriever mix, and is as mild mannered and smart as any dog I have seen.

And she had no problem making herself at home...

Here's my snarly old cat, Chevrolet. She's 21, and survived a bout of dementia about a year ago to become nastier and bitchier than ever:

It's hard to take my weekend naps now, because I got so used to her jumping on the bed and taking her naps with me. :cry:

10. I've had them all my life

When one passes to the Bridge, I never even think of any other type of dog when I'm finally able to think of getting another one. Rusty is the first boy doxie I've had. He's a very sweet boy.

On edit: I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty. Rusty says you can have Ted. :)
