Seems all their great coupon e-mailings are for Rewards members only.

Add to how all their prices are MSRP and the $35/yr Rewards fee seems kinda pointless at best...

There is no sign-up fee. B&N has a membership fee. Borders Rewards is free, and it's a lifetime membership - no need to ever renew. :)

You can even register in the store - all you need to give them is your email address.
