Social-Sex Attitudes in Adolescence (1953):
This tale of responsible young lovers is narrated by Lorne Greene. The film begins with Bob and Mary on their wedding day, and proceeds to go backwards in time to show how each grew up with healthy attitudes towards the opposite sex. Things only get interesting when the film starts detailing Mary's parade of crushes and steadies, and Bob's falling in with the wrong crowd-- smoking, drinking and making out in cars. The highlight is when Bob's mother finds a crude naked drawing in Bob's room with the words "Bob + Betty WOW!!" at the top. Finally, both Bob and Mary grow up to be responsible and happily married.

I got caught up in a traffic jam on the High Level Bridge instead. It took me about 20 minutes to get across. I was trying to talk myself out of a panic attack...I detest that bridge! It's way too narrow.

What was the deal with that tie up on the Whitemud? I kept on hearing about it on the radio.

There was a truck accident; I guess it was trying to go underneath a bridge and the load was too big... it was by 156 street. It's still a nightmare there from the news reports...

We're going to go up to Athabasca and slum around the area for the weekend and just relax; we both need it...

I used to love that park by the river...whenever I'd be travelling to or from Fort Mac, I'd always stop there and eat (except in the winter, of course!). One evening, there was a spectacular sunset...and I just got lost in the dream of the Voyageurs coming down the river...the world magically changed for awhile...
