So I just cracked open a Heineken Light for the very first time
My first impression is I should have stuck with the real thing. I've only had two sips, but so far, it tastes like Miller Lite.

Has anyone else tried HL?

1. Heinies always strike me as bitter
I've never really cared for them. Is the light heine on the bitter side?

2. Not really
I like the bitterness of a Heineken. It reminds me that I'm drinking a beer, not some watered-down sud with an after taste.

If I have to compare it to something, it tastes like flat seltzer water. Hopefully, it will get better as I keep drinking and the alcohol numbs my taste buds.

3. Really? I've always found them to be sweeter than many other beers.
Nothing on Guinness, of course.

Never had Heine Lite.

7. I actually like PBR.
My old roommate used to make fun of me because I'd have a 12-pack of PBRs in the fridge and some random $4-each bottles of beer. I have diverse tastes. I can't help it.

8. PBR's not bad for cheaper beer.
I like the more expensive stuff too but I can't have it everyday. Somedays I prefer to have some plain American brew.

9. My advice: If you like Heineken but you're in the mood for a lighter beer
Buy Amstel Light
