Indiana switched to Eastern
:o

I didn't know until today!! All of a sudden we have to switch the clocks. Not like I ain't used to it, I'm from WA. But 2 years here, I was getting comfortable with not changing the clocks. And here we go. Now we have to.

2. What the herk, indeed
I was looking forward to only being 2 hrs ahead of my family for half a year, so that I could more easily contact them, and vice versa, and now we switch to eastern, and i'm permantly 3 hrs ahead of everyone in my family! x(x(x(

7. That messed me up a couple of years ago when I
was visiting a friend in Indiana.

I'm from WA, but I was in TN visiting my grandparents. I drove up from Nashville to Bloomington and timed it so I would get there right when my friend was getting off work. I thought to make sure I wasn't going to cross any time zones, but I didn't think to check if Indiana observed Daylight Savings Time. I didn't know that I'd been an hour late until very late that night when we were out at a bar and one of her friends asked what time it was---we both responded at the same time, and I was an hour off!
