The abandoned warehouse... (pic heavy for all you 56k users...)
Edited on Sun Apr-02-06 08:17 AM by HypnoToad

The discarded ConAgra building. Aren't they proud and all to keep their big name showing, despite moving to somewhere that must be more "economically viable"? I'd have loved to have gone inside, but dust, thugs, and probably cops aren't my gig...

Hmmm, any of you chicks dig ladies' rooms this big (and rustic!)?

Okay, how the frig did they get up there to paint all that so easily? Levitation, anti-gravity? Or was it the power of love?

A full frontal of the main building. I suppose it's amusing that some of the graffiti scribble right under the brand name was painted over so neatly... :eyes: Never mind the second-worst place for a garage!

A water tower?

Two more water towers?

Dang, that building next to it is pristine (from all angles, but it's boring so you won't see any more of it.)

Full frontal of the side profile.

From the side profile... Man, I wish I had the guts to go up there.

And another.

I suppose you lot need more than one more restroom, given all those lines you have to sit through... :(

And that's the last.

Really?!
(This bus does not make good advertisement, I'm sorry!)

The guy in the car behind me may have called 911. :eyes: Apparently this pic somehow poses a threat. :eyes: There is a theme to this picture, can you see it?

5. Very nice!
I like the "full frontal of the side profile" one best-although they're all great! Were all those colors in that last photo as you took it????

Lamers?

6. Yes, those colors are the originals.
I'd altered the camera's settings and the photo came out slightly desaturated...

Yeah. Lamers. Seems odd to be patriotic while screaming out "Lamers!" in this bright red color... :silly:

All those pics BTW are cheap crops from a small digital camera (not my usual 33mm gear, most of which you can see examples of on my website - many people think those are digital too. Hardly. :7 But I digress.) The actual camera is 7.2MP with a stock consumer-grade sensor. Better than other, even more expensive, 7MP cameras of the time (non-SLR of course), but still low-end stuff. Film is still, by far, more cost-effective. (until a 12MP D-SLR gets to under $1000 and even then I'd have to take a few thousand snaps... and then clean the sensor and fix anomalies caused by dead or stuck sensors... no, film is still better.)
