:) My Sunday is pretty good so far. I overslept, but I had nothing to get up for. :)

9. I still trying to wake up
Even though I got up at 9:30. This time change always messes with me. It takes me like a month, no lie, to get use to it.

10. I have a hard time with it. The "Spring Forward" more so than the
"Fall Back".

I like that they leave a little to the imagination and don't gross you out to the extreme.

14. That you need to rent Saw 2, and you'd probably like Faces of Death...
but the Paramedics series is the one I can't even watch.

20. I saw Faces of Death IV at a theatre in Longview, Texas....
it was more about human stupidity--no eating pets or monkeys, that I can recall...

Engineering student at a Mississippi university bungee-jumped off the top of the science building--he had carefully figured the rope length for the 15 story building. Unfortunately, he forgot to subtract the ten feet for the thirteenth story that was not present in that building.

Or the magician who attempted a "death defying stunt," in which he did not defy death.

That kinda stuff. It is really morbid--the me that I was in 1990 is certainly not the me I am now. Couldn't watch those now, I'm afraid.

23. I have a really tough time with "actual deaths"...I finally watched
Fight Club today (after "Saw") and was covering my eyes through half of it. I didn't realize just how very violent that movie was.

25. You were on a violence binge today!
You need to watch Nemo or Pooh to counter the negative effects of those two VERY violent movies!

:D

27. True... Did I ever tell you the story of my son and "Finding Nemo"...
One night at the dinner table my son said,"Mama, this is very good...what is it?"

I said,"Dory"...

He refused to eat anymore, fixed me with a 6 year old glare and said,"What are we having next week? NEMO?!?"

I had never even thought about it. The whole family burst into a fit of laughter...he got mad (he doesn't like to be laughed at for all his comedic innocence) and stormed out of the room. If he could read this he would be pissed all over again.

Firefighters are trying to get me to watch the Paramedics series with them...it's supposed to be MUCH gorier than FOD.

I don't think I can. :scared:

saw 2 is pretty lame imho, but most people say it's better than the first... i say not even close

29. Only that you like B horror flicks
I was sorely disappointed in that movie for one big reason.

You do not pitch, promote, and saturate the media with trailers based on a single idea (i.e. cutting ones foot off to escape the killer) only to wuss out and not show the guy cutting his foot off in graphic detail when the time comes.

They showed two strokes and then Carey Elwes' foot was just suddenly off. I wanted to hear bone, see blood, and cringe every time I thought about it from that day forward.

So, again, sorely disappointed. Psychologically it was alright, but for straight up gore factor
