BERTHA REJOICES! TIM SALMON IS ON THE HALOS' ROSTER! HALLELUJAH!

He hasn't played regularly since 2004, didn't play at all last year. Injuries smacked him down. But he's worked very hard to come back, had a way hot spring, and the 1993 Rookie of the Year is on the LA Angels' 25-man roster for opening day.

I couldn't be more excited if both my sisters and my best friend all said "we are moving to Maryland." I couldn't be more excited if I won the lottery. I couldn't be more excited if someone dropped a 40-acre animal sanctuary in my lap, handed me the money to run it, and said, "have at it." I swear I'm not exaggerating. I haven't been this excited since the Halos won the World Series in '02. Tim Salmon is my second favorite Angel EVER. Oh. My. God. He made the roster!

I agree to an extent, L. But I love the game too much to stay away. Have played it all my life. Life is empty for me without baseball. I ignore the politics and the greed and the Barry Mother-Effing Jackass Prick Bondses* and I just Dig. My. Game.
