after this picture was taken. I owe my character to my daughter. She made me wise up, straighten out and be responsible. I fear many of you would not have liked me much back then. :hug:

It's an antique cotton Chenille, and she has an unhealthy obsession for it.

Sometimes, I leave it in a pile on the bed, and then we catch her

And when we catch her loving on it,

He's the spitting image of my Pixie (who owned me all through my teens and twenties). He had the same dense fluffy fur and poofy tail, and all that fur between his toes.

I love Maine Coones as a general rule, and an cat that reminds me of the Pix has my instant affection.

A long lost friend named Amy, whom I haven't seen in 23 years, took the photo. The Stalin pic was a provocative gesture on the part of the singer in that band, but all the other show posters on the walls were collected from San Francisco by the inhabitants of the hosting venue.

The show that night was at the Missoula apartment of a guy named Mark Grove. We were both writers for the various newspapers around town, and we were both editors at the university paper at that point (he on the news side, me on the arts side). I'm sad to say that he went blind from complications of his diabetes a couple of years later and he died not long after that. He was a great guy, completely unafraid of anything related to authority, and he knew how to burn up his time on the planet in a way that would maximize beauty and pleasure for himself and those around him. A beautiful fucking human being. Here's to Mark Grove.
