I think because being a mother has so dominated my life since I became one, something with 'mom' in the title was the first thing I thought of, but now I kind of regret it. I don't talk much about my momly stuff here, nor is it the only thing that makes me who I am. Someone once said I should be "populistbabe" instead, but I don't know. I might change my name, but then I have to think if I want to start all over again or not. Good question.

My original name was "Fighting Irish". But when I registered, I think I misspelled my email address. I got no response from DU. Irritated, I moved on.

A few weeks later, I registered as "RatTerrier" (named after the breed of dog I own). This attempt was successful. The rest is history.
