1. Man...last weeks new Simpsons episode sucked.

I'm not even watching it this week because I'm watching Wrestlemania 22 instead. :)

2. After family guy and american dad, the simpsons just aren't edgy

and by edgy, i mean funny :D

I stopped watching years ago. God, they need to just let that show *die*

4. If you've noticed, Simpsons is attempting to adopt Family Guy tactics

Esoteric humor; jokes that rely on other forms of pop culture rather than actual creativity.

And, of course, more gross-out humor too.

Still tame, but the "we can do it too" thing isn't helping the longevity.

it's morphing into the "random non sequitor" format of family guy, and has, for the most part, failed. It just looks like a VERY lame attempt at immitation.
