1. That's like a dream for me.

One recent vacation I took to New Orleans during New Years 2005 (9 months before Katrina) with some classmates for a convention, we took a bus to and from NO. I had 500 dollars in my pocket when we left Fargo, and by the time we headed back from NO after the trip and reached Mound City, Missouri in the extreme NW part of Missouri, about 500 miles from home), I had about 2 dollars in my pocket. Luckily, this was after we stopped for our last meal on the trip in Mound City, and we were driving straight home after that.

3. I know...when I went to San Fran I was out of three hundred in no time.

The weird bit is I bought like a million presents for everyone.

2. It's a great feeling.

I had a bunch of money left towards the end of my Ireland backpacking adventure. The last night I stayed in a real hotel and I took taxis. It was so nice not to stay in a crowded hostel dorm and take a real shower/bath.

4. That is cool. I am suppose to go to England in December.

I am dragging my host of this trip with me. He has like the biggest crush on someone in that country but if left to his own devices, will never ever get out there.
