of when "Sit Down I Think I Love You" was a hit (not Buffalo Springfield's version but a cover), and we used to sing it "Lie down..."

Is there any truth to the story that Crosby Stills & Nash got together as a mutual support group for Joni Mitchell's exes? (It could be a very big band nowadays.)
