I just bought new glasses! I have some questions

They're like these but red.

My questions:

Do you worry if your eye doctor wears glasses?
Do you worry if you have bad breath when you're with the eye doctor?

Are red glasses weird????

1. You only want to go to an eye doc who wears glasses
How else will s/he know what you're talking about when you complain about how your hair gets caught in the frames? :-) And for red glasses: yes, you are very wierd. Very. Go conform and get the black ones!

4. I just can't
I have reddish-brown hair and the black were too severe - I almost got celery green but they dissapeared on my face. I really really really really really like the red....:bounce:

9. I bet they're totally cute in red
Myself, I need to wear light colors; my sight is pretty poor, so my lenses are pretty thick, and so my frames need to be wire or otherwise very thin.

11. I figure if they are too 'out there' I can replace them in a few months
As long as I find frames that fit the lenses I only have to pay for the frames. (and since they are rectangle lenses it should not be too hard to find frames). Right now I'm just being a red rebel!!! ( I looked at the plastic frames, but I'm so hard on glasses I had to go w/the titanium. I'm sure I'll be getting the underwire re-strung several times a year!)

22. Oh, I hate that.
I love the look of the frames I have now, but my hair always gets caught on the left arm where it hinges, when I take them off.

Gotcha! He seemed nice enough - and didn't bump into things, so his prescription must've been okay!

6. Well, can he see my vision problems if he has vision problems himself
But the more I think about it - if he has corrective eyewear then he must be doing it right?!?!

I chewed gum just in case - he didn't have bad breath :7

7. No , no and no
I do, however, worry that the eye doctor will have bad breath. Or the dentist - why is it that so many dentists have bad breath? And you're trapped in the damn chair with their face right in yours. No escape. :scared:

his breath and then move away from me to exhale and take another breath. I thought that was really polite. :7

Still do, really.

If it came to a choice between her and Janeane, my head would probably explode.

20. Exactly!

But seriously, after viewing the images you provided, if you have blue skin, I would rethink the red glasses. That is a bit much color for the face.

23. Thanks, I have reddish-brown hair and 'neutral' skin w/brown-hazel eyes
I can wear blues/reds/yellows - I can wear silver or gold - I'm very - very lucky in the pallet I can select from. Red does look warmer on my face than the black did and the lighter (I tried celery green) just disappeared on my face.

I did notice, though, that I had to pluck my eyebrows - more attention drawn to my eyes w/red glasses

25. red glasses are cool
:-), I actually prefer my eye doctor to be familiar
w/ glasses . Wearing them is a good way to know
they've been on the other side as a patient with
an eye doctor .

36. The celery green ones were $75.00 more - so I'm not too upset
about these. You know you can purchase the frames on discount sites and bring them in to have lenses placed in them. That might cut the costs.
