I've seen your picture. Someone like you will either turn crispy without enough sun protection or be protected enough not to tan if you wait until summer. Put on a short sleeve shirt and shorts and go outside for a half hour to an hour after work. You will probably have to be doing some kind of exercise or you probably will get cold.
As far as tanning your ass, parts that never get sun exposure burn easily. Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way on a spring break trip even though I was wearing sunscreen.

I do it every day.

I have poor blood circulation and every med I've taken for Raynaud's has only made my circulation worse (nearly collapsed one day...)
