I'm rambling right now, and this is probably just a remote coincidence, but what the hell:

In 2000, Florida lost the NCAA Tourney to Michigan State 89-76. Eight months later, Katherine Harris stole the election from Al Gore, and Florida's name was besmirched. This year, while Cruella is hurting from corruption charges, and Jeb is stepping down, we have a chance to defend out Senate seat and take back the Governor's Mansion. Florida managed to exercise the demons of 2000, and so shall we in 2006.
