Post something that you find interesting
that other people find totally boring and pedantic. :boring:

If you key child objects in an itemized list in a skeleton structure, any operations applied to the parent object apply to the child object in the same way, except for rotations, because the object axes aren't synchronized.

No one can threadherk like Fleet Admiral Herkalicious. :P

I guess "threadherking" means
to participate in an extended threadjack marked by frequent use of the word "herk."

Or something.

14. Hi.
I thought I posted that with enough humor that I didn't need to be made fun of...

...but there might not have been enough humor in the whole world.

;)

22. I just posted the most boring and pedantic detail
about myself, because it fascinated me, because I'm so self-absorbed. I thought there was enough benign self-effacement and good humor in my tone that I wasn't inviting much ribbing, but my tone is sometimes hard to get.

My thread was about sorting itemized lists for my child and for my husband and I, his parents. And I invited folks to post something more interesting.

So naturally when I see your post about child objects in an itemized list relative to a parent object 5 minutes later, I thought. clever burn.

No?

:loveya:

23. OMGLICIOUS!
That was totally coincidental. The "skeleton structure" thing is a programming problem I've been wrestling with for the past few months. Whenever I try to explain it to people, their eyes glaze over and they start drooling, but I've learned a whole lot in the process.

I had no idea you posted that. I guess it was a good (albeit unitentional) burn.

:loveya:
