Call me weird but I ain't going to bed and will be starting my day
Ok before you call me an insomniac nut lemme explain, I went to bed early like around 7:30 but woke up at 12:40 because I got a phone call and decided why not stay up some more since I only have one class tommorow and I have to do some work anyway.

1. I stayed up all night, too
I caught a few winks in the late evening and then got up. I have to go into work in a few and decided I would not be able to go to sleep and wake up that early. I had the alarm set for 5 AM yesterday and slept right through it.

I'm not feeling too bad right now, surprisingly.

2. I feel wide awake
I went to bed early because it was storming outside and I didn't get to take my usual afternoon nap because of opening day and I had an appointment. I got a class in 5 1/2 hours then after that, I am done for the day so I'll be home before noon. I dont know how I stand these sleeping patterns, they're bizzare.

6. I bet you do it all the time
You truckers out there running 18 tons at 75 mph on two hours sleep. Par for the course :spank:

Or is that a stereotype? :hide:

Strange sleep pattrns, that's college for you. I got up at about 5 AM one Sunday and happened to see the babe of the swim team in the dorm lobby. I said "Hey Denise, what are you doing up so early?" She said "Early?"

7. Nah opening day went well
Thats interesting, those are the old time Orioles from way back when. According to my grandfather his brother was considered a serious prospect but I don't know if thats true or not same with my one grandmother's story about her father being pals with Honus Wagner.

10. Cool, now you have time to see another part of our world.
May I suggest you run down to the local doughnut shop around 4 am and meet the cool people there. Garbage men and truckers along with the trades people that are getting an early start on their day. They are interesting to talk to. Also, the maple bars are especially good just as they come from the kitchen. Whole 'nother world out there, if you look.

19. When I lived by myself and set my own hours I had no sleep schedule.
I'm pretty sure that's where the name "lunatic" comes from.

I provided comedic relief for the campus police working the graveyard shift.

"Hey you, up on the roof! What are you doing?"

"Collecting Frisbees, Officer!"

Honestly, stuff like that made sense to me at the time.

My first article as a campus news reporter, my editor sent me out to talk to the police about bicycles. I was so flustered by their joking around with me that I messed up a few of the facts. Also it didn't help that I had secret crushes on at least two of my editors. We'd be sitting close together in front of a computer terminal and my brain was racing, racing, racing "Her knee! It touched mine!" and everything else that may have been in my head went right out the window.

Yeah, why not stay up some more?
