Good Tuesday Morning, Crew!

:donut::hi:
Welcome to this Tuesday edition of the Early Morning Crew thread! :bounce: I hope you had a good night's sleep and you're ready to get this day started with me! :bounce: It's going to be a beautiful one down here in Florida! Sunny skies and 78 degrees! :woohoo:

Three down, three to go! :woohoo: That's the number of days left until my vacation starts! And to think...I STILL havne't made up my mind whether I'm going to Missouri or Orlando. :rofl:

Let's get this day started so it can get over with all that more quickly, OK? :bounce:

9. So very tired.
I've been getting 5-6 hours of sleep the past few days, as opposed to the 9-12 hours I usually get.

Also, I just MIGHT finish my screenplay in the next few hours, but a more reasonable estimate would be Wednesday/Thursday.

11.  5 - 6 hours is all I get also.
But I don't need any more than that. I couldn't stay in bed for 9 - 12 hours. That's WAAAAY too long in MY book. :rofl: You just keep plugging away at it and your screen play will be done in no time! You're SO close!

Ironically, I'm a very low-energy person, anyway, so 12 hours of sleep doesn't always charge me up in the first place.

12. Same old, same old
I was in the office for my weekend job today talking to my supervisor. I reported again about that obnoxious fundie whackjob with her singing and shouting PRAISE THE LORD to the TV. The supervisor said she's going to talk to the other staff to get their input (e.g., verify that I'm not making the stuff up) and take it from there. Fortunately I know that two of my other co-workers are fed up to here with her BS so hopefully something will finally get done. :thumbsup:

21. In a way it's good though
It gives more ammo for her (the supervisor) to work with. Like when my co-worker Diane tries to tell the fundie anything, the fundie will start singing right over her while she's talking. :grr: I say let her talk to them--all the better to hang the nasty twit.

79. Aha! Just apply fundy logic to the deficit...
It's out of this world, so it must be God. Giving money to God and not the Republican Party is only acceptable when you confuse the two (they're so alike!), and the repukes have removed the confusion; therefore the deficit isn't to be paid.

Then you can apply fundy logic to the debt collectors....

I wish I could work from home sometimes! It would be kinda hard to help customers from home though. :rofl: Do you go back starting today?

55. Yep, back to the grind this am.
The nice thing about working from home is that you can roll out of bed and pretty much start.

42. Heya Clint - how's it going ??
I don't know whether you should go to Missouri - it looks like Tornado Alley up there !!

How long does your vacation last (besides the obvious answer - NOT FUCKING LONG ENOUGH !!!) ??

:hi::hug:
It's good to see you today, Mate! Springfield IS in tornado alley...and this is the time of year, but I grew up there so it doesn't scare me. I have 11 days coming! :bounce: The bad part is those days are going to FLY by! They always do when you're on vacation. x(

How's everything down under today?

49. Good Morning Clintmax!
3 days!!!? Wow, I surely hope the days leading up to that time move quickly. There is nothing like a good vacation to put things in perspective. My hubby's parents just moved from Missouri, last month, now we have to go to Colorado if we want to see them! Fortunately that is where my son lives too! (I have no clue why I thought I should tell you that but, I guess I needed to :shrug: lol) I wish you the best day and I hope that only kind customers come to your store today! :bounce: :loveya:

53. Good Morning, Miss Ohio!
:hi::hug:
Thank you so much for the good wishes! :loveya: What part of Missouri did they live in? I was glad to move from there to somewhere that it doesn't snow and ice! I wouldn't want to live someplace where it was worse than that! Colorado gets like feet and feet of snow in October and it stays until something like July! :rofl: Well...maybe that's a LITTLE exaggeration...:rofl:

80. They lived in Tuscumbia
population 250. It's located about the center of the state. You are right about Colorado it can snow at any time. When we lived there we couldn't plant until June 1st. What a short growing season and when we lived in the mountains above Denver you could forget trying to grow tomatoes they hardly had time to ripen, that is if the deer didn't eat everything first. It makes Ohio seem warm. I tell you though the sun shines in Colorado most days and here, winter seems like it lasts 6 months. Ok Have a great day! !!:hug: :hug: to you and greekspeak!!:hug: :hug:

89. Thank you. That snapshot was from yesterday morning.

We had a helluva storm here last night. The picture clearly supports the old adage Red Sky At Morning ~ Sailors Take Warning!

I'm so serious about my sunrise shots that I'm just sipping my first cup of coffee.

I still have two more glorious mornings here.

BTW ~ Sorry for the delay. Posting is a bitch when the signal fades and my puter stops responding. x(

58. Morning Clint !
I think it's going to prove to be one of those marvelous days. Had a good nights sleep and just finished a great omelet (eggs, scallions, cheese, ham) and coffee is just about ready.

Looks like you've still got soul searching to do vacation wise. It warms my heart that you are close to your family, consider yourself one of the lucky ones.

It's supposed to be sunny here too and temp's going to hit a whopping 48!

I'll know in just a while. I'm going to make a couple calls when we are finished here and see what I can find. Since I grew up there, I know where the hotels are that Expedia and Hotels.com DIDN'T show.

I swam this morning! I hadn't done that in *cough* some time after work got crazy and then I got sick. I'm swimboy, dammit! I've got to get in the water once in a while!

If you don't figure out your vacation, you are going to have a very spontaneous one. Nothing wrong with that! :D

98. No big plans for today.
Tonight's the quiet evening before a big finish. Laundry is caught up and we got groceries in the house last night just before the biblical storm blew through so I'll just do some reading and writing. TJ has challenged me to put my political philosophy into words and that will require a little focus.

Wednesday is haircut and church choir and Thursday is dinner with Joani! I think it is too amazing that she is coming for a visit!!!
