How many book clubs, dvd clubs, music clubs do you belong?

I belong to insideoutbooks.com, Quality Paperback books, Book of the Month Club, columbiahouse.com (dvds) and BMG Music, so that would be 5 for me.

However, I have in the past belonged to two book clubs and a music club at the same time. It just gets to be difficult to get those do not send me this months selection cards sent back on time. I ended up with things I really didn't want so I dropped them all.

I owe Columbia House $27 from 5 years ago. Maybe I should pay it. ;)

4. I've Got A Membership In A Books-On-CD Rental Club...

... kinda like Netflix, but for audio books.

5. Netflix, QPB, Book of the Month, YourMusic.com.

YourMusic.com is great. Every DVD is $5.99 and free shipping. You put all your selections in a queue and you receive one every month.

Answer: Zero. I was in the Columbia Record Club in the 70s (ah, the errors of youth) and never really saw the benefit (after the 12 for a penny deal, that is).

Same with the QPB Bookclub, which I was involved with in the 80s. I liked it, but now I get my books for free, or at a steep discount :D

7. just Gamefly

which is like Netflix for video games. Very convenient, because while the video store will likely have whatever movie I want, they rarely have a broad selection of games (nor do they have many copies when they do have something good.)

It's pretty cheap & my already cluttered house doesn't need any more permanent stuff. Especially stuff I did not order. The clubs might be good deals for non-procrastinators.

I have NO PROBLEM finding books & music to buy.
