In europe the dates are written with the day first (05/04/06), so I guess this won't happen for them until next month and will be meaningless then, too.

I do that, too, or else in exact reverse with the year first -- today is either 5 April 2006 or 2006-06-05 -- not because I'm European, but because I'm logical.

Smallest --> largest, or else largest --> smallest. The only two ways that make sense.
