I don't know if it's been mentioned here but not only does Samuel L Jackson star in Snakes on a Plane which is in post-production, but also in Black Snake Moan, also in post-production.
I read it at IMDb >
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0462200/ Plot Outline: The plot involves a white nymphomaniac who must be "cured" of her disorder by an older black blues man.
and from the board on that page (which I think is more or less like something I read here at DU):
"Samuel L Jackson in London Times interview, in UK promoting Changing Lanes; December, 2002 "There used to be a lot of bad mother father snake films made in the '70's. I wus rappin' wit Quentin 'bout this. He suggested a good place to start gettin' snakes back in the cinema (where they belong) would be at least to get snakes in the title".... "I'm nothin' if I'm not agitatin'!" "
oh yeah... and the way I got to all this was checking to see if it's true that he's signing on to "1408", (Stephen King short story) a thriller starring John Cusack. No confirmation of Jackson in that over at IMDb yet. I wonder if there are any snakes in that story. Anyone read it?
