And no synopsis there. So I went to boston-legal.org, and not much detail there either. So:
Denise and Brad discovered the priest had a printing press in his office, making fake papal dispensations. Then the FBI guy told Denise and Brad that they found the priest's other finger (the one the cat ran off with), gave it to them in a bag of ice, and that he couldn't condone it if they blackmailed the priest with it. They went to the hospital, and Denise told the priest she couldn't care less about papal policy and sanctity of confession, that a 4-year-old boy was missing, and they needed to know where the brother was. The priest says "Go screw yourself" (!)
Denise holds up the finger on ice, and says that they knew about the counterfeit dispensations. The priest tells them where the brother was living, and gets his finger back. Brad wants to get all "Mannix" again, but Denise says no, let the FBI handle this. Tense moment at the apartment building, the FBI breaks in (wearing riot gear reminiscent of Elian Gonzales), with Brad, Denise, and housekeeper outside watching. We wait... wait... they bring out the pedophile brother in handcuffs, wait... wait... wait... some more, finally they bring the kid out, alive. Happy reunion with his mom.
Alan wrote a $75,000 check to the homeless man (named Kirk! LOL) as a settlement. Kirk notices it's from Alan, not the firm. Later, in Denny's office, Denny gives Alan a check for $75K. Denny taps his head knowingly.
