It sounds like your companion really touched your life. I hope you'll find comfort in that. I know how hard it is - when my Daisy died 10 years ago at the age of 14, it took a very long time for me to get over her passing. I could hear her in the house for months afterwards. They are such unique souls - we are lucky to have them in our lives.
