20. A friend in Florida

Has a pit bull he's had for over a decade, the dog is the gentlest overgrown puppy he's ever had.

It has mainly to do with how they are raised, and what type of pit bull.
The vicious ones are inbred and taught to be rough and nasty.

14. My 80# male pittie Deuce is like that, too...

He's usually afraid of cats until they warm up to him (if the kitty hisses, he runs away!) but he loves kittens. He'll pick them up, put them on the bed, jump up on the bed and lay down and bathe them. It's hilarious! Our pit-rottie mix Weezee likes them too...she was spayed at a very early age, yet tries to mother any baby animal we bring home.

I've known other Pit Bull people to have similar experience as far as that goes...
