Tell me something that bugs the bejesus out of you!!
Me double parkers and people who park their cars in areas clearly not designated for parking.

Lately a new one is this oversized SUV with get this, a memorial along with a picture of their baby that died. There is pley of parking everywhere but if they don't get the one spot closest to their apartment they park their car in front of the mailboxes. And the mailboxes are at at a very dangerous curve in the parking lot of the complex.

SO what bugs the bejesus out of you??

4. If they slash your tires, it goes from a parking violation to a crime.
I say call the cops on them, then slash your own tires. Then take a header down the stairs and say they beat you up. Won't it be funny when they're in prison for a year for parking in front of the mailboxes?

3. Just seeing Hummers in the city of Chicago
Excuse me, is there some mountainous terrain in this city of 3 million that I'm unaware of? Terrain that you'd need some 6000 lb, gasguzzling behemoth that you absolutely need in this city? I still get pissed off seeing those things around here.

OSU cheer team just got grounded. It isn't that I disagree with their concerns about injuries, back strain, and body image, but rather it seems to me like they were just waiting for a chance to dump the team and therefore save some money by cutting a coaching position, team funds, and liablity insurance. So instead of a competitive team in athletic wear that does stunts and tumbling there will now be a pep squad that wears polos and khakis and is completely ground-bound. (I am very concerned if they switch this to a club situation there will be no coach, as was the case when I was in college. This is _more_ likely to result in injury than having a well-supervised team.)

In fact, I was so annoyed I ended up writing a note to TPTB:

I've heard of many cases where gymnasts have become cheerleaders when there is no gymnastics program available at a school. You may find the opposite situation occuring at OSU with those former cheer athletes who choose to stay with your school.

Will your decision about the cheerleaders not wearing athletic clothing or performing stunts and tumbling affect the gymnastics program as well, since it too is high risk for injury and body image disorders?

20. As a cheerleading sponsor
That sucks. Cheerleading might be a dangerous sport, but more people go to the ER from driving. Now THAT should be out lawed and we should have public transport every where.

On to what I hate. Not having public transportation. Now, I drive an SUV that was a gift from my parents back when gas was under a dollar and I was a repub. Now I am in the second highest tax bracket and am still tight for money and can't afford a new car nor can I afford to drive 45 minutes each way to work.

to and from practices and events, I imagine.

Our SUV only gets used when the whole family needs to go somewhere. All the rest of the time hubby drives the Golf.

26. Twist ties on children's toys packaging....
My five year old is sitting there, remarkably patient for his age but still wondering when he'll actually get to play with his toy, while I spend what seems like an eternity trying to dislodge a roaring dinosaur from the cardboard / plastic vault it came in, and I then have to pick about a 100 little plastic covered metal wires off the floor.... ARRGGGGH! I'm sorry, but one shouldn't have to get out a toolbox to take a toy out of a box.....it's a plastic dinosaur, for crying out loud!

And don't get me started on that hermetically sealed plastic crap...

:grr:
