One of my sisters has a wisteria right outside her kitchen window, and it is so lovely when it's in bloom.

Takes a lot of pruning, though, or it will take over the house. That is a steel arbor that it is growing on.

I think that it is second only to a Frank Lloyd Wright in Greenville, SC. Actually, better. It is, for sure, one of the most unique houses in upstate South Carolina.

my Milwaukee bungalow was built as a model home in 1929. Brick with a clay tile roof. We suspect it made it's way through as a speak easy during Prohibition.

My granmda had some in her yard and when I get a house and a yard, I'm going to plant it everyday.

15. I have a wisteria in the yard that is nearing 15 years...

and hasn't bloomed yet. Sadly, the new owners will probably take it out. In summer, the back yard looks like a leafy green room.

I'm sure wisteria blooms later up there than down here. Dr. DemoTex is working in her Chicago Heights office this week and reports that spring has not quite sprung there.

died right after Christmas. The house is half my sister's and so I must leave.

Although I have a yardful of daffodils (all vases are packed, damnit) spring is very slow to spring here.
