MAC users - I need you to test a QT video for me...

I need some mac users to test out this video I'm submitting to the Huffington Posts "Contagious Festival". I want to make sure it works for with QT on macs.

Please let me know if this video loads for you:

7. Mac Pbook 10.3.9 Safari 1.3.2 and Firefox 5.0

Initial test on Safari on link one did not open, but link 2 did. Second load of link 1 did work. (Go figure.)

Worked both times on Firefox. Redeux is larger than test_vid in both Safari and Firefox.

They look good!

I wonder what gives with this thing. This iMac is less than a week and a half old.

10. Well, I can tell you that the problem is with

the "codecs"...

I use WinXP -

the first video "test_vid" was a converted from .AVI video to .MOV using a third party video converter program.

The second video "...REDEUX" was actually converted in QuickTime Pro 7 using the popular H.264 video codec - but Mac users for some reason can almost NEVER get it to work.

Strange, eh?

The prom isn't with your iMac - it's just these funny codecs...
