Horrid movie, only redeeming factor was it had John Lithgow in it, but still must fault him for reading past page 3 of the script. He must have owed somebody a big favor. He's way too good for that sort of shit.

4. Matchstick Men

I was interested in the film because I am interested in con artists, and cons played both short and long. I had been reading a lot of stuff by guys like David Maurer and Frank Abagnale, so was happy to this thing for $9.99 in the "previously viewed" bin.

Sad to say that it's no The Grifters and it's certainly no The Spanish Prisoner. It is just a stinker.
