8. baby hawaiian woodrose seeds
They deliver the goods of an LSD-class trip, but al natural.

Make tea with 20 seeds or so, don't eat the solids or they'll
make you barf.

Oh, for 1000 mics of sandoz, but alas...

7. I've seen a couple of friends on bad trips.
Which is why I haven't tried it.

I have used various substances in the past, but I am hesitant to try something that
could distort your perception of reality like that.

9. all depends
on your state of mind, and environment

we do it with the lights dim, good music, and just hanging out- colored christmas lights, lava lamps, shiny things. talking. if a certain song messes with someone, someone else gets up and changes it. if you are with the right kind of people, it's a beautiful experience. having the freedom to move about whatever home youre in... not being in public is good. some people can handle acid in any kind of situation, and it's also not for everyone.

the worst thing you can do is be freaked out when you take it- that can influence the whole trip- just take it with the thought that, whatever goes on, it's just in your head, and your safe, and it's cool. besides the acid of today from what i hear is a lot weaker then past decades

10. too bad acid don't come with instructions
Messing with altered states of consciousness is a sacred thing,
not a criminal thing or a intoxication thing, and i find that
most bad trips begin with a disrespect for the sacred
subtlety of the human consciousness (and its sensitivity).

Acid opens you way up, psychically, and if you do it, best
keep to nature. A beach, A desert, A forrest, a safe place
where no nasty people will come around... and a friend about
to defend you from people... as when you're tripping,
people can be a nasty trip.

A lovely trip is making love, wow, unforgettable that.

Have lots of fluids on hand, fruit juices around, as
tripping dehydrates your body.. My friends and i always
figured that a trip burns 3 days of life-force in 8 hours,
the mind's reactor going a bit hot... and where would
any person respecting the sacred body temple, place
that sacred root of consciouness in a pure, loved,
secure space.

namaste,

12. nature is good too
it really just depends on what kind of person you are, and what is calm and comfortable for you

14. yes
don't mean to be condescending towards yourself knowing better.

I think people who don't know better believe LSD is a super
stong opiate like heroin, not realizing that it is not an
inebriating drug really, but a truth drug, one that erases
the false pretense of the internal dialog for a few hours,
and gives a person a shot of enlightenment.

People blame the drug for bad trips, like in this thread, not
knowing better, and how could anyone, its not exactly like
they teach you in school how to do halucinogens safely.

In all honestly, i really do believe there should be a "shahman"
that should be able to perscribe mind altering drugs like LSD,
like a doctor, legally. Then persons wishing to walk that
way, could at least check in, just keeping the whole
thing as safe as possible. The person could explain the
allegory of the "vision quest" and how the native indian
peoples for 1000's of years, have used power plants in special
times as insight and inspiration.

I LOVE swimming in the ocean whilst tripping. I can't tell
where my body ends and the ocean begins... oh joy indeed.

13. It must be the springtime! Time to get outdoors, go camping...
Edited on Thu Apr-06-06 04:31 AM by file83
...I love the outdoors! Here's me snowshoeing in the central cascade range this winter (December)...

You've obviously had some good times on LSD - those are great memories, eh?
:bounce:
