Welcome to the Thursday edition of the Early Morning Crew thread, everybody! :bounce: I hope you've had a great week so far! Only two work shifts until the weekend! :woohoo:

As you know, my 11 day vacation begins tomorrow. I found an excellent room rate at a hotel that Expedia and Hotels.com missed, so I'm going back to Missouri! :bounce: I only get to see my parents and sibs once a year and they would all be upset if I didn't go. So, I'm leaving early (and I mean EARLY) Saturday morning! I'm going to spend a week there and be back here on Friday the 14th! Now, I will not have access to a computer for that time, so I won't be here on DU. I'm thinking of hiring an substitute to do the Early Morning Crew thread while I'm gone so everyone can still have it every day. The only question is...WHO? :shrug::rofl:

Let's get this day started so it can get over with even faster!

Yay VACATION!! WE are going to Colorado and New Mexico in May for the very same reasons! We thought about San Francisco but my mother sounded so pitiful about us not going there that I had to go there instead. We only see our families about every 1 to 2 years too.

Wow, I think you should hire BillySkank or Mason or Buffy or Seattle Girl or Joani or Bigwillq or.... I guess about anyone on your list who has the opportunity to stay on for awhile. My plans are the same every weekend ... clean the house and wait for someone to come. Yesterday someone was scheduled for 4:00 in the afternoon. So I stumbled around cleaning up in the morning. JUST when I finished, the office called and said they had to cancel. Then, after 5:00, they called again -- someone wanted to come at 7:00. So we ate and washed the dishes, etc., got the lights all turned on and waited. We waited until 9:00 and then finally locked up. No one showed up. Our realtor didn't have his notes at home, so he couldn't even call an yell at them. Is this normal behavior for realtors, I wonder? I mean, that's four in one week (last Monday we had one who didn't show up, and then one who cancelled 10 minutes before their appointment).

89. Well, I'm getting to the point where it doesn't upset me so much.

Now I'm more surprised if they DO show up. Oh, and the one who was supposed to come at 4:00 yesterday is the same one who didn't show up last Monday. My realtor says that at lot of the realtors around here just don't give a crap about treating the sellers with more respect. He apologizes for them all the time.

I can't wait to see the pictures! :bounce: I was thinking about you yesterday and willing you to visit your family -- did you feel the ESP? :D

I was wondering what was pushing me over the edge! :rofl: I've been "himming and hawing" about going until I just felt I HAD to go and looked for a hotel to stay in in earnest. I'll take a lot of people pictures too, so you can see everyone!

One of the ladies I work with is also selling her house and she had a guy come in twice to see the house. He brought a stop watch the other day to see exactly how long it took the hot water to get to each and every sink in the house! :eyes: Can you believe THAT?? What a FREAK! :rofl: She's decided she won't sell to him no matter what. :rofl:

I must go get ready for work, my dear. I have to be there at 9 and have to leave the house at 8:30. I'll be here in the morning again, so hopefully I'll get to talk to you more then! :loveya:
