died in London couple days ago. I had older siblings so i got to hear his music. He also wrote the great, great Crystals' song, "He's a Rebel."

My sister's 45's of his songs are burned in my memory. well, not all the actual titles, but the Feelings are.

My mom used to listen to oldies stations in the car when I was a kid, and I thought he was pretty cool. I'm sad that he died :(

And I mourned his passing when I heard yesterday.
But I didn't really recognize him until after I heard Ronnie Montrose's instrumental cover of "Town Without Pity." What a hauntingly beautiful song.
