I blame my former co-worker for this. He called me once, to ask me to do lights for a theater production he was directing. I said I would, and we worked out a schedule. At the end of the conversation, he says, "Oh, have you checked out this website, DemocraticUnderground.com?" That evening I logged on to DU and started posting right away. I came for the Top 10 Conservative Idiots. I stayed for the message board. It's all been downhill from there. :P

How long have you been a DUer? How did you discover it? What made you stay? What are your stories? :shrug:

Addendum: Say...if alcoholics are addicted to alcohol, then wouldn't chocoholics be addicted to chocohol? I need to get me some chocohol...:9

Anyway I lurked for a couple months, then we lost the election, and there was that "My name is..." thread, which I thought was awesome. So I decided to join, and I just started posting and found some cool people to interact with, and now look at me!!! :crazy:
