Living in NYC, we pay outrageous amounts in taxes.

5. We filed our federal return on Valentine's Day.

We haven't filed our state return yet, but my husband is just going to bring it to work with him - they have a drop box for state returns in his building.

We're getting a $56 refund from the state.

I have to redo mine-- I forgot to deduct my union dues (around $500 last year). I did 'em last weekend, but I'm redoing them tomorrow. Right now, I owe about $1300. Divorce is expensive.
