6. My friend Maurice. It isn't an official "date" I guess.

We are meeting for drinks and some light food at a little restaurant/bar here. We are not meeting until 9ish. We may go to J's (a local gay bar here) after that.

My advice is not to go into it with much expectations. Just take it slow.
Get to know him. And if it goes well tonight than maybe a second date will be in the future.

12. Oh I try to not have expectations... But I usually expect it to be a

tough experience. Blind dates have not gone well for me in the past :)

I am hope it goes well and least have a friend from it. He is just here for job interviews so he may not even end up living here. But maybe a second "real" date tomorrow.

I actually got drunk one night later on and woke up next to her myself. The problem then was getting her to leave. It was very embarrassing and is the only time I can ever recall doing something like that.
