I have both extended editions and I've seen each about 20 times. I'm such a freak I've even watched it multiple times with the commentary on. :D

8. I can't stand the wait

I've been doing the countdown since last December.

I watched FOR and TT extended versions ??? times, and while I am not quite nuts enough to go to the midnight show, I will go the first day.

All indications are that it is going to be simply incredible.

I am hoping that Peter Jackson will released the "Absolutely Everything We Filmed" version on DVD ASAP.

11. Disapointed in The Two Towers

I very much liked the Fellowship, but to tell you the truth I was disapoointed in The two towers. It sort of 'unlit' my fire to tell you the truth.

By the way, I first read the trilogy in 1965, and have reread it probably a half a dozen times in the interviening 38 years.

I can tell you what I am looking forward to though. I've got the DVD's for the first two, when the third comes out there will be some gloomy snowy day comming up when I flip off all the lights and sit back for all 3, start to finish. Now "That" I look forward to.
