8. I Resemble That Remark
I suppose that as a CPA, sitting home working on tax returns on a Friday evening, it qualifies me as a "nerd." But I still think of myself as a "cool" person, and it's my intelligence and easy going nature which makes me into a nerd.

But women do in general seem to go for the guys who treat them poorly, and are phony in the end. But that is typical of our country, as evidenced by the large percentage who will believe someone like King george.

Oh, to meet a short, "cute" and younger liberal female who is geographically compatible, would be wonderful!

22. Because they think they never meet women when they are looking for a
relationship (WWTLFAR). 'Why will she be only friends?' plus seeing WWTLFAR as the antithesis to normal, and seeing normality as a reaction to their personality/actions, therefore the perceived antithesis if their personality, ie. bad guys, must be what causes WWTLFAR.

Make sense to you?

It is logical, just with a flawed premise.... that they do not beliece any women are attracted to them. Simple.

stereotype of a 'bad' girl? 'Special hugging' before marriage. Also not demure (ie. covered from ankle to neck in 15 sheets of pigiron), and whatnot, so sexual non-abstaining girls became associated with 'bad' guys.

That's two good reasons now.

30. I don't like boring guys, but I love nerdy guys.
To me being nerdy is all about being openly interested in a range of things that "cool" guys think they're too "cool" to care about. Why would I want to hang out with a guy who thinks he's too cool to talk about literature, art, politics, or science? Nerdy guys aren't afraid of being different---"cool" guys are all about conformity.

Most of the guys I know (pretty much all nerds) are very attractive. They're not built like models or athletes, but they're cute and charismatic. Best of all, they can carry on intelligent conversations.

Well, I just usually see it because alot of women date these jocks and then get bitch slapped in the face and they're like "OH BUT I LOVE HIM!".

I saw a relationship go like that during lunch a few months ago, I was wanting to drop kick the guy in the face.

49. Because boring, nerdy guys..
..don't make the effort to do the little things to make themselves attractive. There are bad guys out there, to be sure, but their attractiveness to women is overemphasized by the pathetic to justify their inability to find a woman. When I say "pathetic" here, I mean the type who just moan about their situations without looking at themselves and seeing their own faults. Nobody, to me, is a nerd or "loser" until they give up.

I actually hate the uber-nerd complainer and their views of women much more than I hate the jock type. The nerds are much more into this idea, even if they don't say it, that women are dumb and always choose mates based on superficial criteria.

BTW, www.heartlessbitches.com is a GREAT site about this topic.
