if he is not committed to coming back at this point, I don't think it's going to happen. Maybe he's holding out for more money, but if he *still* doesn't know what his future with the team is, I'd be inclined to think he's done and will end up retiring.

If he was gonna retire, he'd do it already. He's in no hurry and he damn sure doesn't hold out for money, he doesn't need too. If anything he wants to have a winning team, in the past he has restructured his contract to help out with the salary cap.
Maybe its wishful thinking, but reports have indicated he is "negotiating" with the team. Maybe he is angling to help form a winning squad?

Of course if he wants to win, fewer interceptions would go a long way....
