Yesterday I watched Star Wars: Episode III ...
Just for the kick, today I watched Star Wars 4 A new hope(The original one).

All I can say is WOW! The original Star Wars is awesome! Better story, more action, that flick got it all!

Sorry George but the original one is the best.

I had a great time watching it.

1. Its a great movie
After all the criticisms about plot after episodes 1 & 2, I watched 4 & 5 again and realized that they never were thick on plot. If anything 2 & 3 had more plot twists that the older ones.

5. True (although I would disagree with "more")
However, the original movies were also far less thick with cartoony action sequences and sickeningly cutesy characters. I also think the interpersonal relationships and adult/romantic themes (while still shallow) were far better done in the earlier movies. For example, I think that scene in Ep. 4 when Han teases Luke about Leia right after they leave the Death Star is a better conversation than anything in Eps. 1-3. (IMO, of course...)

2. Both are simplistic and B-level, but IV has a charm that I-III is lacking.

6. haven't seen III yet
i think part of myself is still a child of the 80's that doesn't want to see it end. The other part of me is the current part that actually laughed/heckled through most of 2.
