I tried a little dictionary divination yesterday.

Put the dictionary in front of me, closed my eyes and concentrated really hard. Then I let it fall open, thinking, "Who am I? What am I right now? Out of everything in the English language, what word describes me and my life at this moment?"

So, I thought, "left" and used my left hand to point somewhere on the left page. When I opened my eyes, it had landed on the word "obstreperous".

I'm obstreperous? NEAT! :D

I have many different decks that I've collected over time.

I used to be really into it, years and years ago, but with parenthood, my life has changed a lot.. :D

I'm doing well today, thanks for asking. My hubby and 9 yr old dtr are off on a fun Father/Daughter road trip to LA for a few days. I'm at the homestead, enjoying some Mother/Son time with our 12 yr old.

Ironically, we're on opposite sides of the house right now, on our respective computers. LOL. Yeah, we're really bonding. heheheh.

12. first I had to look up obstreperous

The dictionary said "of, or like an obstreper" and then for obstreper it said "someone who is obstreperous". Apparently I am supposed to know what it means from birth.

Then I did the dictionary thing, which came up with "yare" which means "quick, agile, lively" That is so not me. However, there is a second meaning, apparently the opposite of obstreperous - "easily handled or maneuvered". Which seems to be some kind of editorial comment on the way I was maneuvered look up a word and then to do this dictionary thing. Apparently it's all too true.

I think JJ's still sleeping, she was dancing a lot last night. I've heard the pitter-pat of lil feet running (why do kids always run) around but I don't smell any coffee. 20. I LOVE dictionary divination! I use a thesaurus, though.

I hadn't done it in a while, but your post reminded me that I might want to try. After asking, "What is the most important thing for me to do in order to find a new job?" I came up with the word, "chipper." Meaning: happy. Also meaning: alert, animated, bright, brisk, gay, "in good spirits," keen, lively, spirited and vivacious. Check. I can convincingly fake chipper for an interviewer with the best of them.

And I think it's actually pretty amazing that you got the word, "chipper" for your question about the job. Personally I think you have an awesome attitude anyway. :-) I know you'll find success.
