Colin Powell came to my workplace to speak.....

If you want to know something about it...feel free to ask...

He was in my opinion... amicable personally but his whole speech was insipid and uninspiring and bush-lite...

1. Did anyone get to ask questions?
Did anyone ask something good, like if he felt partly responsible for the war in Iraq after his false presentation to the UN?

6. Frist Condi would also have a good chance of winning
frankly, I would rather have Powell and Mccain... Of course, I'll be voting dem, even if we run Zell Miller...

No one asked Powell about 2008?

8. I saw him give a speech at George Washington University
back when he was Secretary of State. They were opening a new school of international policy, and he was the keynote speaker. The students treated him like he was a visiting rock star. His speech was one giant commercial in strong support of Bush foreign policy. It made me ill. Even the worshipful students had a glazed look in their eyes after 40 minutes of it.

He lost every bit of credibility that day, for me.

9. How disappointing, my dear lioness......
I used to have so much respect for him...

I read, and loved, his book...

But I could NOT believe it when he declared he was a rethug....

And then to betray all of us in that speech to the UN.....:puke:

That was the END!

But it still makes me sad......

He COULD have been great....and so could McCain.....

It's a tragedy beyond comprehension, to me......
