Do you guys believe this crap? Time traveler from 2036...
I know it's two years old, but a friend of mine at work told me about the site yesterday. I think it's bull shit, but he seems to believe this tripe. What do you think? Apparently he's "predicted" some stuff, and apparently we've prepared for some stuff that never happened so he's patting himself on the back. Read a bit of the Civil War stuff, it's questions from a webchat. I also found a book on Amazon, so that is why I think it's bullshit. He hung out just long enough to tell everyone, start a website, and write a book. OK. Whatever. But it is interesting and intriguing.

You'd think a guy from the future would know how to design a half-decent webpage.

5. So silly
i could be a better time traveler...This guy is creative, but doesn't understand enough basic concepts about some of the things he's talking about. It makes for fun reading, but I could pretend to be from the future better than this guy.

6. Exactly what I was telling my husband.
My friend from work usually isn't a conspiracy nut, but I think he's losing it with this.

8. My friend and I made a 3 hour collaborative project of debunking that
one night. I'm a history major, he's a physics major, and we each set to work in our respective areas. The one thing he pointed out that I thought was the most interesting was that if a magnet were actually able to bend light (as one of those photographs claims to show) it would create a black hole, thereby killing whoever took the photo :)

It's an odd read, but kinda funny when you look at it with a skeptical eye.

9. Any mass can bend light.
Gravity bends light.
Any mass has gravity.
Ergo, any mass bends light.

It made a lot of sense when he said it. I'm not exactly Mr. Science ;)

Is it just me or is it painful to look at? (I mean besides being ugly)

P.S. I would love a little UFO smilie!

14. He doesn't have the same technology where he's from...
maybe he thought that was what a website was a supposed to look like...oh, or maybe he was short on time and just threw it up, so to speak.
