um.... maybe.
Unless I convince him that lunch in Sturgeon Bay would be easier. This is Holy Hell Week for me, so I'll be doing churchly duties all week.

Come to think of it, now I've got to do more cleaning, too. Oops. :)

5. I was shocked he said yes.
I was convinced he was going to stay home, and I'd be on the road Easter, right after church. I'm going to go pick him up on Wednesday, and he'll be here all weekend. (Dad's 87, and doesn't like to drive long distances anymore.)

8. The last time they were here was 2 years ago.
I think it will help both of us to be together for the holidays, and ease some of the pain. While I still have my Dad, I'm gonna love him as much as I can. :)

16. Q for you:
In a locked thread (yeah, I read 'em), you mentioned something about "Cherry Delights." Do you realize that place is just up the road from here, about 5 miles? I kid you not! :7

29. Those candies are the most delicious candies on this planet!
How lucky you are to live so close to where they are made.

Should I ever have the chance to visit you I hope you know that we will have to go there. :D

If not, maybe you could stay here and work there during the day. :)

See? I see it as another sign that we were destined to be friends.:loveya:

24. I try very hard, I do. But I tend to forget, as you know. Also, as an
ADD adult, I have "dropouts" (times when I'm absolutely listening and paying attention, but half a sentence or so will just go missing...it's kinda like your car radio when you go through a tunnel), and can't always ask people to repeat what I missed.

...you were saying?

31. YAY!!!! Have fun together, talk story about mom,
and cook him something wonderful, or take him out for a bitchin' fat and grease and cholestoral and meat-based wonderful comforting Wisconsin Easter ultra-lunch/supper.

Stuff him with brats and sauerkraut and steak and potatoes and fries and fried cheese and everything wonderful.

And have fun!!!

Any recommendations?

33. Recommendations? Yeah - hit him in the head with a bottle of it!
Or take it to a restaurant, and the first kid who opens his fucking mouth, you kill his parents with it for not controlling their little shits in public.

:-)

I have no idea what kind of vinegar I have, and, truth to tell, I'm really too lazy to go walk over and check. Whatever it is, I'm sure it's not as nice as what I could have bought in NYC.

But then again, maybe it is? Both bottles I have are from Italy, different manufacturers, and both are wonderful, and were picked totally randomly (though the aged one wasn't really random since it was the only aged one that the store had).
