Mmm mmm...

I've been trying it out a fair amount lately, making balsamic-base salad dressings, using it as a marinade with steak, reducing it and using it as a sauce for panfried steaks, mixing with cucumbers and onions...

And I bought a bottle of 4-year old - wow! Way better than the other.

Now I wish I had played around with it more back when I lived in NYC and had a store nearby selling a wide variety of ages, up to 30 years...

It's like pure heaven!!

2. A requirement in our kitchen
I use a dash or so in my red pasta sauces...

I use it when roasting chickens... injecting a balsamic-based marinade under the skin...

mmmmmmmmm

3. Do you use it when you're hating America, too?
LIEbrul.

:P

Howdy Zomby!! I should try it next with some tomatoes.

And I bet under the chicken skin is great!

I wonder how it would be with duck...

8. Fenestration refers to windows.

From dictionary dot com (and no, I in no way expected their example but I fucking wholeheartedly support it!):

defenestrate

v : throw through or out of the window; "The rebels stormed the palace and defenestrated the President"

Also, the mental image of throwing something out of or through a window is almost always funnier than throwing something off a roof.

10. What a great quote!
"Man is certainly stark mad; he cannot make a worm, yet he will make gods by the dozen. (Michel de Montaigne)"

Thanks for that one! :hi:

11. yuk yuk yuk.
Laugh away, that's what they're there for!

LOVE that quote. For the Alexis Sayle one, it needs context. (Have you ever seen 'The Young Ones'?)

15. Do not throw geckos out of windows.
I'm a gecko fan. I feel kind of bad right now because I moved the latest batch of eggs into the incubator and now the mom's looking for them. They need to be incubated to hatch though.
