weather is suppose to be a bit nicer today... not sure if we are going to do yard work today - both my partner and myself are aching a bit

but I still have to make dog cookies and clean house...

aches are from fibra-myalgia acting up for me, and arthritis for my partner

Is fibra-myalgia different to fibromyalgia? I was reading an article about the stigma the other day... and well... if anyone made the 'I get that on Mondays' joke near me there would be trouble!

it comes and goes in reference to pain level

on good days I only ache a little, on bad days I feel like I've been dragged through a knothole backwards and beaten with a bat

when it gets to that point - it's la-la pills time. I still hurt - but I don't care....

at the moment (on a 1-10 pain scale - 1 being no pain, 10 being worst pain ever) I'm about a 4. It's enough to be bothersome and real annoying, but still at a level where I can deal with it

I take the la-la's around the 6-7 level and only if it lasted for more than 2 days. Sometimes it's at that level for a few hours and eases off on it's own or with taking some ibuprofen.

don't like to take the la-la's because they make it near impossible to function, and also taking alot of them over a period of time decreases the effectiveness

and yes, been through all the conventional and unconventional therapies - doesn't help

27. Aye. It must suck. My cousin-whose in the states now-

is ~26 , and had such bad rheumatoid arthritis that she couldn't even hold her friends baby.
Mind you, she's going for one of her own... apparently the hormones of pregnancy are a great pain releiver. Not that I'll ever know ;).

Best of luck! (Mind you, it would be pretty awesome if they found a cure)

Question: If people find out 'that other name'(for the disease), do they attach the stigma still, in this day and age?

Hope not, but experience with people tells me otherwise.
