EBay Buyers (Some are aggravating!)
This is just to vent.

Damn it..3 times (out of 5 sales) this month, the Buyers..of Computer Parts...
..have been "Deadbeats".

Christ, you get happy when someone buys the item and then 5 days later there has been
not ONE word from them ...either "Paid Item" or correspondence.

I wish Ebay had a rule that "Item MUST be purchased within 36 hours"

Hell..if you can't get your ass to pay for the item within 36 hours,
than you must not want it very bad and the seller can offer it to someone else.

AGGG..end of rant. :)

1. Wow, that's awful
I buy through ebay and pay within 10 minutes of receiving notice that I won an item. It just isn't fair not to.

2. Yep..you know..If the item (sale) ends when I'm awake,..
..I pay for it NOW...not wait until "I feel good and ready to"....

They're probably the same F*ckers who take 7 minutes to pay for something in the
check-out lane at the Supermarket.

3. And the converse is true also
I bought a forty four dollar item last month. I haven't seen hide nor hair of it. The person took my money and left ebay. I got a claim out against him but I am not holding my breath.

5. That's just as bad
but I have to say that I've only had ONE bad buying experience on ebay and that was for something less than $15. So far, everything else has been great.

Hope you get your item or your money back.

4. I am an eBay virgin, I'll admit.
I was recently gifted a $50 gift certificate for eBay that apparently uses PayPay to pay for whatever I choose. I looked at the eBay website, got completely daunted by it and my confusion about how it all works, so I sent Customer Service an email, asking for them to explain it to me: Do I have to register? Do I make bids? Can't I simply buy whatever I choose outright and be done with it? You know, questions like that....

I receive an email back from Customer Service that is, get this, 4 PAGES LONG, when I printed it up.

I shit you not. :eyes:

It's like I need a fucking co-pilot or something to buy anything on eBay.

6. Here's a quick version:

Yes, you do need to register.

You can make bids; but there ARE quite a few items that have "BUY IT NOW" as an alternative to bidding.

If you want strictly "buy it now" items (with some exceptions I personally wouldn't recommend this--e-bay sellers often have a funny idea of what their item is worth); do a search for what you want. When the results come up, scroll down the page and look to the left-side of your screen. There are options to par-down your results, including a box you check if you want to show only "buy it now" items." Click the "show now" button and the "buy now" items will show up. You can then click on the item you want and purchase it. (Note that clicking on the item doesn't automatically mean you buy it.)

Good luck! Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know! :hi:

7. I have that same problem

I sell clothes on Ebay and for my payment terms I state that the payment must be made in 5 days or the item will be re-listed. I'll re-list the item if the customer doen't pay and wait a few more days before filing a non-payment claim with Ebay.

I recently had a customer who paid for an item 30 days later and when I refunded her money and told her the item was re-listed, she messed up my 100% positive feedback rating with bad feedback calling me a thief and liar.
