3. That's his 'baby'
It is the ONLY toy he'll play AND sleep with other than one of our cats (the one he 'grew up' with).

Our house isn't for sale :)

22. My Cat's Names
Edited on Mon Apr-10-06 10:42 AM by Brigid
I named my older cat Ophelia because when I got her I already had a cat named Hamlet (he passed away last fall), so it seemed to fit. Brigid is a small black cat with big orange eyes. She makes me think of Halloween, which is a Celtic holiday, so I gave her Celtic name. Brigid means "strength." :)

9. they are great!
Stubborn as anything I've ever known though. He listens to my husband better than he does me. He's been charming with all the workmen we've had here at the house. Even when we leave he behaves himself with them still working here. I think though, IF someone tried to get in, someone we didn't know, it would be a much different story.

10. I had a few. They were legends. My female used to open the fridge
Edited on Sun Apr-09-06 01:12 PM by henslee
by pawing at it until she caught the lip, then she and her brother would eat everything in the fridge. I ended up duct taping my fridge shut. They once got into five quarts of chinese chicken salad brought home from a catered party. I came home, my apt. and both dogs were covered in chicken salad and dogpuke.

My boy rottie used to get upset when the fuji blimp would pass over. It could be a mile a way, didn't matter. He'd growl and bear his teeth. And it would take forever to pass by.

Best dogs I ever had.

26. I swear, I've been doing stuff like that all week. I sent someone
a sample mp3 of a radio show... and they told me the date I randomly chose to send them (there were hundreds to choose from) was their birthday... And I dont know them that well.

12. whoa, look at those eyes
what a sweetie! do you guys fight over the "baby?" Mrs. V. used to play w/ her dog, Buddy, with one of those sheepskin babies. She'd say, "I'm gone git that baby!" and he would just go NUTS. Very fun memories.

He growls and whimpers if you pretend you're going to take it! He remembers where he put it at all times and goes to get it when I ask him "where's your baby?"

It's a hoot!

14. Oh, I love him!
We had a Rottie that passed away three years ago from Addisons disease. He would have been nine April 1st. We still have pictures of him up all over the house and when my oldest son sees a dog he will call it Darwin. We miss him so much. I am still having dreams about him. We want to get another dog, but want to wait unil the boys are a little older (3yr and twins 22 months). Give your dog a big hug from us!

19. His butt wiggles so hard i have to laugh..
I swear if he had a tail he'd swipe everything off the coffee and end tables, and we'd have bruises. It's a hoot to see that little stump wiggle. He was docked when we got him. I don't think I've seen any Rotties with long tails (?)

25. People are scared of 'em
But Rotties are lovebunnies!

Then again.... when a dog 50 pounds heavier than you is sitting in your lap and trying to French kiss you... maybe scared is a good thang.

(Before anyone asks, yes... Khash has had an 8 inch dog tongue down his throat.)

Khash.
