Have you or have you ever considered "Paragliding"? Pics...

Shot some pics at the Torrey Pines gliderport. This place is right on the La Jolla cliffs overlooking "Blacks Beach", San Diego's "clothing optional" beach. Supposedly its pretty safe, with the proper instruction and wind conditions.
I may give it a whirl ($150.00 for a tandem flight).

Has anyone here ever tried this? Would you consider it? It sure looks like fun!

I have NEVER done it! However, I LOVE to photograph someone else doing it! Behold:

5. "Parasurfing" is big down here too.

A small surfboard in which your feet are fixed, out on the water. You put your "chute" up and fly and surf at the same time.
I may try it once before I leave this world.

Peggy, you and I seem to like to photograph similar subjects. I love to shoot surfers and other activities like this.

Its great to have a camera in SoCal. Isnt it?

We do like to shoot similar things, true enough.....

I think it's because we both live near the wonderful Pacific Ocean.....

And that's a big something to have in common!

I got lucky with that pic of the parasurfer....that was the first and ONLY time I've seen someone doing that....
